Laurann Malachowski has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Laurann began their career as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley from 2000 to 2003. From 2013 to 2014, Laurann worked as a Regional Brokerage Manager and Voluntary Benefits Consultant at Combined Insurance United States, where they worked with the brokerage community to educate on the integration of Voluntary Benefits. In 2014, they joined Malachowski Insurance & Financial Solutions as a Benefits Specialist & Consultant. Laurann also became a member of the Los Angeles Association of Health Underwriters (LAAHU) and served as a Communication Committee Member and Media Relations Chairperson. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Digital Marketing Advisor & Consultant at Agency Growth Academy. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Sales Executive at PrimePay, providing small businesses with payroll, benefits admin, time and labor management, and HR services. Since 2017, they have been working as the VP Sales at Insynctive, Inc., a white-label cloud-based solution for automating HR services and customer service improvement. Overall, Laurann Malachowski has gained extensive experience in sales, marketing, employee benefits, and financial advisory roles.

Laurann Malachowski completed Essentials of Healthcare Reform at The American College of Financial Services in 2011. From 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) at Kaplan College. In their earlier years, they studied Political Science & Communications at Indiana University Bloomington from 1986 to 1990.
