Brian Zange is an experienced actuary with a strong background in retirement plan administration, particularly in defined benefit and cash balance pension plans. Currently serving as an Enrolled Actuary at Intac Actuarial Services since April 2023, Brian has previously held notable positions such as Cash Balance Plan Design Consultant and Senior Actuary at Alerus. Additionally, Brian was a Senior Pension Actuary at Retirement Planning Services, Inc., and worked as a Defined Benefit Plan Consultant at First American Bank Retirement Services. Brian's expertise includes performing actuarial valuations, plan establishment and redesign, and ensuring compliance with Internal Revenue Code and regulations. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from St. Olaf College, Brian is also skilled in complex Excel functions and serves as a resource to peers in these applications. Early work experience includes roles as a groundskeeper and camp counselor.
