Bert J. Rivière

Bert J. Rivière is currently the Lead Legal Counsel at Intact, specializing in privacy, compliance, cyber law, and data science. They have a strong background in corporate legal counsel, with extensive experience in intellectual property, technology licensing, and privacy law, both domestically and internationally. Bert graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and previously served as Associate Senior Counsel at Intact, as well as having worked as a lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright. Additionally, Bert has a background in IT systems integration, having worked at the MaRS Discovery District and Apple Canada.
