Richard A. Maletsky

Rick Maletsky has extensive legal and leadership experience in the commercial real estate and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Hilco Global since January 2024, Rick previously held the position of Executive Vice President & General Counsel for Newmark Operating Companies from 2014 to December 2023, contributing to the company's prominence in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to that, Rick worked as Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at Cantor Fitzgerald from 2007 to 2014 and began their career as an Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates from 2003 to 2007. Rick earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History from Brandeis University.
