Maria-José Perea

Maria-José Perea, EMBA, B.Eng, currently serves as the Director of Product and Design for Digital Platforms and Telematics at Intact since September 2023, where responsibilities include defining and executing the vision for a mobile application and telematics program for leading Canadian insurance brands. Prior to this role, Maria-José spent over 13 years at Desjardins, holding several key positions including VP of Product Innovation for Group Solutions, where leadership involved the development of insurance and retirement savings service offerings, as well as oversight of a large team focused on service delivery and business intelligence. Earlier career experience includes the role of Lead Business Analyst/Senior Project Manager at Tenrox, contributing to the definition of successful strategies and software implementations. Maria-José holds an Executive MBA from McGill HEC Montréal and a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Concordia University.
