Marla N. Cox has extensive experience in the insurance and legal sectors, currently serving as Deputy Senior Vice President Claims - Legal, Casualty and Large Loss Property at Intact Financial Corporation since 2009. Marla has led Intact’s Legal Claims and Casualty operations and has held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Claims, Legal and Technical, where responsibilities included managing technical claims initiatives and legal expenses. Prior to joining Intact, Marla served as Vice President of Legal Claims at ING Insurance Company of Canada and held various positions at Miller Thomson LLP and Hughes Amys LLP. Marla holds a B.A. (Hons) and LL.B in History and Law from Western University and achieved a Diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
