Stephen Carruthers

Stephen Carruthers has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Director of Personal Lines Ontario West at Intact, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of underwriters, managing commercial lines portfolios, and developing broker relationships. Carruthers has held various leadership roles at Intact since December 2013, demonstrating expertise in team management, performance evaluation, and business development. Previous experience includes a leadership position at Grey Power, where successes in sales and service were achieved through effective team support and training. Carruthers began a professional career at Scotiabank as a Customer Service Representative and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University, along with several professional designations in insurance and management training.
