Daniel Hasselberg

Daniel Hasselberg has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel is currently an Angel Investor at EGD Angel Syndicate since December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Co-founder and CEO of MAG Interactive, a leading mobile gaming company in Europe, from April 2013 onwards. Daniel also held the role of Co-founder and Product Manager at MAG Interactive from 2010 to March 2013.

Daniel Hasselberg served as a Board Member at Sonetel, a company providing virtual phone numbers and AI-supported customer service, from December 2018 to December 2021. Daniel was an Advisor at G-Loot, a gaming company, from 2013 to 2020. Additionally, they held a brief board position at Delinquent Interactive, now known as MAG Brighton, during the acquisition process in 2015.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Daniel Hasselberg worked at MAG as a Co-founder and Product Manager. During their tenure from 2003 to 2010, they contributed to the development and management of an e-commerce platform for DRM protected music sales. Daniel also gained experience in technical sales and community building at AirClic after the acquisition of Connect Things AB, where they had worked as a Technical Sales/Application Developer.

Their early career started at ELLEMTEL in 1997 as a System Developer, where they focused on creating concepts and prototypes for IP-based mobile services, including pioneering work with SMS and WAP services. Overall, Daniel Hasselberg's career reflects a strong background in entrepreneurship, gaming industry, technical sales, and product management.

Daniel Hasselberg attended Uppsala University from 1992 to 1997, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering physics. During this period, they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Software as part of their field of study.
