Elliot Cooperstone is the Founder and Managing Partner of InTandem Capital. The firm made investments in healthcare services companies exclusively with CI Capital Partners from 2011 to 2015. In 2011, Mr. Cooperstone identified the opportunity to acquire Interactive Health, a biometric screening and worksite wellness company, based on his role as chief executive officer of a former CI Capital portfolio company which had a commercial relationship with Interactive Health. InTandem co-invested with CI Capital in the company and Mr. Cooperstone became the company’s non-executive chairman, and worked with CI Capital on the sale of the company in 2015.
Mr. Cooperstone was previously CEO of Prodigy Health Group, Inc., a health plan services company acquired in 2011 by Aetna Inc. Mr. Cooperstone joined Prodigy Health in 2004 after identifying and participating in the acquisition of the company with CI Capital. Prior to Prodigy Health, Mr. Cooperstone was the Vice President and General Manager of the Employer Group (ESG) at Intuit. Mr. Cooperstone joined Intuit in 2000 upon that company’s acquisition of EmployeeMatters, Inc., a company he co-founded in 1999 and for which he served as CEO.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Cooperstone was a Director of Strategic Planning at The Walt Disney Company and spent five years with The Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Cooperstone also has prior experience with Alexander & Alexander Services Inc. and The Travelers Group.
Mr. Cooperstone received common law and civil law degrees from McGill University in 1985 and an MBA from The Wharton School in 1988.
