Bing Yang

Bing Yang has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Bing most recently worked at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. as the Vice President of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where they led the drug delivery combination product design and development, formulation development, and entire analytical method development and validation. Bing successfully led a technical team in developing a proprietary formulation platform for stabilizing peptides and proteins. Bing also managed third-party contract labs and partnered programs. Prior to their role at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc., Bing held various positions at Amgen Inc. (formerly Tularik Inc.) and Nektar Therapeutics, where they played key roles in formulation development and manufacturing for clinical studies. Bing also worked at Scios Inc., where they participated in the development and commercialization of an FDA-approved product and optimized lyophilized parenteral formulations.

Bing Yang's education began in 1978 when they attended Peking University. They completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1982. Later, from 1992 to 1997, Bing Yang pursued a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Utah.
