Charbel Hawa is an experienced electrical engineer and project manager with a robust background in power systems and electrical infrastructure. Currently serving as a Project Manager for intec under GOPA-International Energy Consultants since October 2021, Charbel previously held positions including Senior Electrical Engineer and Team Lead at Egis, where project supervision included the construction of a container terminal in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Prior to Egis, Charbel worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Employer Representative for decon international GmbH, overseeing power plant expansions in Lebanon. Charbel's career began at Melecgroup/Matelec, where responsibilities spanned from Construction Manager to Site Engineer on various projects in Iraq, contributing significant experience in substations and power plant construction. Charbel holds a Master’s degree in Electric Power Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Notre Dame.
