Dr. Eliza du

CEO & Founder at Integem

Dr. Eliza Du co-founded Integem Inc. in 2015 and served as the CEO, leading a team to develop an AI-based Holographic Augmented Reality (Holographic AR) cloud platform. Dr. Eliza played a key role in the development and commercialization of the platform, which allows users of all ages to create their own interactive and immersive Holographic AR experiences. In their role at Integem Inc., they also oversaw the development of three specific products/services, including the iPlayer Holographic AR platform.

In 2020, Dr. Du became a Commissioner for the City of Cupertino's Technology, Information, and Communication Commission (TICC). As a Commissioner, they advised the city on topics such as smart city initiatives, 5G technology, fiber communication, and adaptive traffic control.

Prior to their roles at Integem Inc. and the City of Cupertino, Dr. Du worked at Qualcomm as the Director of Engineering from 2013 to 2015. In this position, they focused on intelligent mobile product design, development, and commercialization, with key areas of expertise including biometrics, deep learning, machine learning, and pattern recognition.

Before joining Qualcomm, Dr. Du held a position as an Associate Professor at Purdue University from 2005 to 2013. During their time at Purdue, they also served as the Director of the Biometrics and Pattern Recognition Lab and supervised PhD students. Dr. Eliza'sresearch areas at Purdue included biometrics, computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition, and signal processing.

Dr. Du started their career as an Assistant Research Professor at the US Naval Academy from 2003 to 2005.

Dr. Eliza Du completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2003 from the University of Maryland. Additionally, they have also studied at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, although specific details regarding their degree or field of study are not available.
