Claus Høgh Christensen has held a variety of roles in the engineering and project management fields since 1992. Claus began their career as a Technical Teacher in Automotive Mechanics/Electrical Systems at Bispehavens Youth School. In 1994, they became a PTA Technician at SDC Dandisc. From 1997 to 2005, they worked at Crisplant A/S, first as a Test Manager and then as a Commissioning Engineer. From 2005 to 2007, they held the role of Commissioning Engineer at Bilwinco. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Project Manager at Fertin Pharma A/S. From 2012 to 2014, they were a General Project Manager at DSS Silkeborg. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Project Manager at GEA Liquid Processing. Most recently, they have been an Afdelingschef - Industriel IT & Automation at Intego A/S since 2018, and is currently a Consultant at Colo.

Claus Høgh Christensen began their educational journey in 1977 when they attended Tilst public school and graduated with an extended graduation in 1987. Claus then completed a crafts apprenticeship in Automotive Electrician at the Technical school of Aarhus in 1988-1991. Claus furthered their studies at the Engineering College of Aarhus in 1991-1993, studying electronics and programming. In 1995-1996, they attended Aarhus Tech and obtained a diploma as an Electronics Technology Technician. From 2002-2002, they attended Crisplant project training academy and completed a 9-month project training programme. In 2008-2009, they attended Cambridge College and obtained an Advanced degree in English. Claus then attended Eductor in 2009-2010 and received a GLU - grundlæggende leder uddannelse, or Fundamental Management Training. In 2011-2012, they attended Business Academy Aarhus and earned a Diploma of Leadership in Organizational Leadership and a PRINCE2 foundation in PRINCE2 examination. Claus also obtained an Academy level of Project Management at Business Academy Aarhus in 2012. Finally, in 2014, they attended gea projekt management development course and studied Project Management.
