Amelia Snyder

Amelia Snyder has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Research Associate at Integral Molecular, which they began in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Kesem as an Operations, Activities, and Teen Programming Coordinator from 2022 to 2023. In this role, Amelia fundraised, planned, and executed a summer camp for children whose parents have cancer. Amelia also provided year-round support for the kids and their families.

Before joining Kesem, Amelia worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia - Department of Infectious Diseases from 2021 to 2023. In this role, they studied the evolution of Zika virus and managed their own research project, reporting data and progress to their supervising principle investigator. Amelia also gained hands-on experience in molecular biology and virology techniques.

Amelia's work experience extends beyond the scientific field. Amelia worked as a Ballet Dancer at The Joffrey Ballet from 2019 to 2020, where they had the opportunity to train under renowned choreographers. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Intern at Georgia System Operations Corporation in 2019, gaining experience in communications, training, and accounting. Amelia also worked at Charlotte Ballet as a Ballet Dancer from 2017 to 2019, learning, rehearsing, and performing multiple roles and participating in community outreach shows.

Amelia Snyder's education history began in 2018 when they attended Georgia State University Perimeter College. Amelia pursued a degree in General Studies with a focus on Liberal Arts and Sciences, which they completed in 2022. In 2019, Amelia transferred to City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College, but no degree or field of study is specified.
