Katie Kurtz, MSW LISW-S is an Adjunct Professor at Case Western Reserve University's Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. Katie is also the Subject Matter Expert at Integrate Trauma Informed Network and serves as the Northeast Ohio Co-Chair for the State of Ohio's Trauma-Informed Care Collaborative. Katie is the Founder & CEO of Katie Kurtz, LLC, specializing in trauma-informed care trainings and consultation. Previously, Katie held roles at organizations such as Evellere Group, The MetroHealth System, and Cleveland Clinic. Katie holds a Master's degree in Social Work and Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University.

Integrate is a Community of Practice based on The Tacit Model by Emily Wheeler that centers on formal and informal ways for human care providers to practice human-centered communication and trauma-informed decision-making skills in low-stakes environments with aligned professionals. Building up a community where we can practice upholding trauma-informed actions is the heart of our mission and vision.
