David Jonker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and human resources within the retail sector. Currently serving as a Senior Operational Navigator at Integrated Care 24 since October 2018, David previously held various significant roles at Shoprite Holdings Ltd., including Operations Manager for OK Furniture, where key achievements included launching the brand in Angola and overseeing multiple successful store openings. David also advanced through roles as Regional Manager Designate for House & Home and National Human Resources Manager for the Furniture Division, contributing strategic HR leadership across a large employee base. David began their career at The Metcash Group as Divisional Labour Relations Manager and has demonstrated a strong ability to navigate complex environments and foster employee engagement. Academic credentials include an MBA from Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership and a BA from the University of South Africa.
