Hawa Juma currently serves as a Behavior Specialist at Integrated Community Alternatives Network (ICAN) since September 2023 and has been the Director of Community Engagement and the Director of Community Outreach at MIDTOWN UTICA COMMUNITY CENTER since May 2022. Prior educational achievements include an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in General Studies from Mohawk Valley Community College, completed in May 2017, and a degree from SUNY Polytechnic Institute earned between 2019 and 2021.

Integrated Community Alternatives Network (ICAN)
ICAN works with over 2,000 individuals each day to restore social, emotional and behavioral health and well-being to Keep Families Together. ICAN offers 22 programs reaching communities across six counties in Central New York and serving individuals from prenatal to end-of-life care. Services are delivered at home, in school and in the community. Founded in 1997 as a home-based mental health services program for children in Oneida County, ICAN has focused on families since day one.
