Jim Hooker

Jim Hooker is a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in managing complex electrical engineering projects across various sectors, including higher education, healthcare, and medical office buildings. Since February 2018, Jim has been with Integrated Design Solutions, contributing to significant projects. Prior to this role, Jim served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Kingscott Associates and AECOM, where responsibilities included overseeing projects from inception to completion, focusing on deliverables and detailed electrical systems such as power, lighting, and security. Jim's career began at URS Corporation, where similar responsibilities were undertaken for a decade. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Engineering from Michigan Technological University, completed in 1989.
