EMEA Field Application Scientist For Crispr And Functional Genomics (gene & Cell Therapy) at Integrated DNA Technologies

Abdelilah Mekhloufi, PhD, currently serves as an EMEA Field Application Scientist for CRISPR and Functional Genomics at Integrated DNA Technologies since April 2022. Prior to this role, Abdelilah was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Immunology and mRNA-based Therapeutics at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University from September 2019 to January 2023, focusing on the development of mRNA-based therapeutics for SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Abdelilah completed a PhD in Immunology and Cancer Biology at Sapienza University of Rome, emphasizing the role of the bone marrow microenvironment in multiple myeloma, from October 2015 to September 2019. Additionally, Abdelilah has experience as a research intern at the Pasteur Institute of Shanghai and the University Hospital of Tours, contributing to projects on innate immunity and HIV diagnostics, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Master of Molecular and Cell Biology from Université de Poitiers and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Université de Tours.
