Allen Hwang

Allen Hwang serves as the Director of Endoscopy at Lowell General Hospital since January 2021 and is simultaneously a Staff Gastroenterologist at Lawrence General Hospital, a position held since March 2020. Additionally, Allen Hwang is the Chief of Gastroenterology at Circle Health and Managing Partner at Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants, both roles established in January 2019 and August 2015, respectively. Allen Hwang also contributes as an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine since August 2013 and previously worked as a Staff Gastroenterologist at Tufts Medical Center from August 2013 to August 2015. Training includes an Advanced Endoscopy Gastroenterology Fellowship completed at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital and a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Penn Medicine. Allen Hwang's residency in Internal Medicine occurred at UCSF Medical Center. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University School of Medicine, a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington.
