Marco Caffio

Marco Caffio is a Co-Founder, Director, and CSO at Integrated Graphene Ltd since December 2016. Marco holds the same positions at Integrated Graphene Holding Ltd since November 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Chief Scientist at RD Support Ltd from August 2014 to December 2016. Marco was also the Owner of Surface Nano-Engineering from August 2013 to July 2014. Marco has previous experience as an R&D Engineer and QC Laboratory and Manufacturing technician at Alere Technologies Ltd from April 2011 to August 2013. Marco was a Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews from May 2008 to September 2010. Additionally, they were a PhD student at the University of Florence from January 2004 to January 2007 and worked as a Research Scientist at KME from August 2003 to December 2003.

Marco Caffio earned a BSc. with Masters in Chemistry, specializing in supramolecular chemistry and interfaces, from Università degli Studi di Firenze. Marco completed this degree from 1996 to 2003. Later, they pursued a PhD in Physical Chemistry, specifically in the field of Surface Science, also at Università degli Studi di Firenze from 2004 to 2007.
