Saima Nisar

Saima Nisar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Saima is currently working as a Senior Global Product Manager at Integrated Graphene, where they lead research, strategy mapping, and the future roadmap of innovation for the Gii® Next product. In this role, they collaborate with industry and academic partners and sets up new processes and systems. Saima also compiles VOC interviews to support customer needs and requirements and leads the Product Management Team.

Saima also worked at Quintiles as a Project Manager, overseeing the delivery of clinical studies and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Saima provided leadership to the study team and facilitated effective communication between team members.

Saima's work experience also includes roles at W. L. Gore & Associates, where they served as a Product Manager, leading project planning, and managing the whole product lifecycle for various product ranges. Saima liaised with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product alignment with customer needs and implemented the company's product strategy. Additionally, Saima worked as a New Product Developer, responsible for bringing concepts to commercial saleable products and implementing a new manufacturing lamination line. Saima also contributed to research and development projects, including statistical analysis, testing methods implementation, and failure analysis.

At the start of their career, Saima worked as a Laboratory Technician, conducting testing and quality control for laminated textile materials in the military and consumer outdoor industries.

Saima Nisar pursued their education at Edinburgh Napier University. From 1991 to 1994, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Polymer Chemistry. Following this, they continued their studies and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Materials Technology from Edinburgh Napier University, completing it in 1995.
