Jon Kinsey

Jon Kinsey, CPP has extensive work experience in the security industry, primarily in sales and business development roles. Jon started their career in 2006 as a Business Development Manager at Adesta LLC, where they focused on developing a new national transportation vertical market. Jon then worked at SimplexGrinnell L.P as an Electronic System Sales Representative, responsible for customer retainage and account migration.

In 2008, Jon joined Tyco SimplexGrinnell as a Business Development Specialist and later became a General Sales Manager, overseeing a district sales department. Jon managed relationships with strategic small businesses and was responsible for the Ohio State Term Schedule Contract.

Jon transitioned to Johnson Controls in 2016, initially as a Core Sales Manager, responsible for fire and HVAC domains. Jon then became a General Sales Manager for the Cincinnati and Columbus regions in the Fire Domain. In 2019, they took on the role of an Area Strategic Sales Manager, contributing to JCI's transformation into a premier Smart Building provider and developing the security organization for the Ohio Valley Area.

From 2020 to 2022, Jon served as an Area Strategic Sales Manager for the PA-NJ, New York, and North East areas, leading a team of Complex Security Solutions Sales Executives and assisting in the development of a new Complex Security Solutions Structure within Johnson Controls.

Most recently, Jon joined Integrated Protection Services in 2023 as the Vice President of Business Development for National Accounts. With their expertise in sales and business development, combined with their extensive knowledge of the security industry, Jon has made valuable contributions throughout their career.

Jon Kinsey, CPP has a background in Computer Science Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1992-1993, Computer Technology from Columbus State Community College in 1993-1994, and Business from Ohio University in 1991-1992.
