Troy Vassos

Troy Vassos is a highly experienced environmental engineer and academic, currently serving as Technical Director and Senior Environmental Engineer at Integrated Sustainability since March 2018, specializing in integrated water management for large-scale projects. Vassos also holds the position of Adjunct Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at The University of British Columbia, contributing to graduate and undergraduate education in environmental engineering. Previously, Vassos was the President of Troy David Vassos Inc., focusing on customized solutions for water and wastewater treatment, and has held significant roles in various organizations including Golder Associates and NovaTec Consultants, where strategic planning and technology selection were key responsibilities. Vassos' expertise is further exemplified by involvement with the Standards Council of Canada on water reuse standards and significant contributions to engineering accreditation. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Environmental Engineering from The University of British Columbia, Vassos combines extensive practical experience with scholarly insight.
