Rick Kerestesy has extensive experience in various senior roles within the technology and consulting industry. In 1992, they served as the CIO for Watkins & Keyerleber Insurance, where they were responsible for technology and automation solutions during a period of significant growth. From 1996 to 2011, Kerestesy co-founded and served as President of HyperText Communication, Inc., and founded and served as CEO of Dataworx Technologies, LLC, where they developed cloud-based software for Fortune 100 companies.
From 2010 to 2011, Kerestesy worked as an independent consultant for the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), offering executive-level decision support for strategic and operational management related to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
In the years following, Kerestesy held various senior positions at The Ambit Group, including Senior Vice President and Vice President. In these roles, they contributed to business development, capture management, and proposal writing for civilian sector opportunities, as well as overseeing account growth and customer satisfaction for the NOAA account.
From 2017 to 2018, Kerestesy served as Senior Vice President for Civilian Markets at Planned Systems International, supporting business development and serving as the account executive for the Department of Justice. Since 2018, they have worked as an Independent Consultant for the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. In April 2020, Kerestesy joined Integrated Systems Solutions, Inc. as the Senior Vice President.
Rick Kerestesy attended Geneva High School, although specific dates of enrollment were not provided. After high school, they enrolled at Kent State University in 1989 and completed their undergraduate studies in 1994, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. The field of study for their bachelor's degree is unknown.
In addition to their formal education, Rick Kerestesy has obtained two certifications. In August 2012, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. Then, in December 2013, they obtained the PPM-301: Advanced Program/Project Management certification from the Federal Acquisition Certification Academy (FAC Academy).
