Avinash Kumar

Avinash Kumar is the Founder and Executive Director of Hashtag PerCapita, where several impactful projects have been led, including a strategic evaluation of TVET centers in Northern Tamil Nadu, consultancy for climate-resilient water and sanitation planning in Cambodia, and wastewater management studies in collaboration with various foundations. Additionally, Avinash holds roles as a National Expert at INTEGRATION Consulting Group, focusing on urban climate resilience strategies and digital interventions for wastewater management. Currently serving as a Technical Consultant for WaterAid India and a Technical WASH Consultant for WASH Institute, Avinash also collaborates with SaciWATERs and has provided technical advisory at the National Institute of Urban Management. Education includes advanced degrees in Urban Planning and Spatial Informatics from prominent institutions, complemented by teaching prior at CEPT University and TISS.
