Heidi Knowles

Heidi Knowles has extensive experience in the medical field, starting as a Physician at Palestine Regional Medical Center from July 2006 to January 2017. Heidi then moved on to Integrative Emergency Services, where they held various roles such as Director of Leadership and Advocacy, Assistant Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, and currently serves as the Emergency Department Medical Director and Chief of Operations since January 2023. Additionally, they have been a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians since 2003.

Heidi Knowles earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General from Texas State University. Heidi continued their education at the same university to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) in Microbiology, General. Later, they attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) where they completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications related to emergency medicine, clinical research, and professional development.
