Ronald J. Jensen

Executive Vice President at Integrative Emergency Services

Dr. Ronald (Ron) Jensen has been affiliated with IES since its inception. He serves as Executive Vice President for the northern division of CHI St. Luke’s Health emergency departments in Conroe, Huntsville, The Woodlands, Lakeside, and Springwoods Village in Houston, Texas. Dr. Jensen first came to work for the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center system in 2005 in Garland, Texas. Subsequently, he served as the Medical Director at Navarro Regional in Corsicana, Texas, Wadley Regional in Texarkana, Texas, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas, and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. From 2009 to 2014, Dr. Jensen served as the Chief Medical Officer and VPMA at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas. After that, he served as Department Chair and Medical Director at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Irving, Texas, helping transition that location from a private emergency medicine group. His next role was as Department Chair at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, from 2016 to 2020.

Dr. Jensen is a decorated former Marine who grew up in southern Oklahoma and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas. He attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, for his doctoral degree in Osteopathic Medicine before completing a residency in Emergency Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, Dr. Jensen holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas.
