Cheryl Wallace

Cheryl Wallace, CPA, MBA, ICD.D, currently serves as the Director of Business and Finance for BC Public Service since April 2024. With a wealth of experience in leadership and finance, Cheryl has held key positions at Integris Credit Union as Vice Chair and Chair of the Board of Directors, and has been on the Board of Directors at Central 1 Credit Union since April 2019, where Cheryl contributed to the Audit and Finance Committee and chaired the Nominating and Elections committee in 2021. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Carrier Sekani Family Services and Director of Finance and Administration at JA British Columbia, a nonprofit focused on financial literacy. Cheryl's earlier career included significant positions at the University of Northern British Columbia, YMCA of Northern BC, Northern Health - BC, Canfor, and Overwaitea Food Group. An advocate for community engagement and financial education, Cheryl has earned numerous credentials, including an MBA from UNBC and a Corporate Director designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
