David Trenchard

David Trenchard is the Founder and CEO of David Trenchard Consulting Ltd, established in April 2015, specializing in shareholder engagement, activist investment, and corporate governance. In addition to leading their consultancy, Trenchard serves as a Non Executive Director at Integrum ESG and as a member of the Advisory Board for the Centre for Corporate Governance at The Institute of Directors, where participation in the Council and the Audit & Risk Committee occurred during two elected terms. Trenchard also holds positions as a steering committee member for The Natural Resources Forum and has served as Engagement Director at Elliott Advisors (UK) Limited. Previous roles include advising Georgeson on shareholder related issues, acting as a Senior Advisor at Greenbrook Communications, a Non Executive Director at The People's Trust, and Chairman of the Advisory Board at Highgate Capital Management. Trenchard earned an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge between 1977 and 1980.
