Donal O'Brien

Donal O'Brien has extensive work experience in the medical device manufacturing industry. Donal started their career at Lake Region Medical in 2005, where they worked as a Facilities Manager for seven years before becoming an Engineering Portfolio Manager in 2012. In 2015, Donal joined Integer Holdings Corporation, where they initially served as an Engineering Manager- NPI. Later on, they advanced to the position of Senior Engineering Manager and eventually became the Director of Engineering in 2023. Donal's roles at Integer Holdings Corporation involved developing innovative medical technologies and batteries for various markets, including the cardiac, neuromodulation, orthopedics, and power solutions sectors.

Donal O'Brien received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Waterford Institute of Technology. Donal then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation Management in Engineering at the University of Limerick from 2011 to 2012.
