Craig H. Barratt

Director

Dr. Craig H. Barratt joined Intel Corporation’s board of directors in November 2025 as an independent director.

Dr. Barratt was CEO of Barefoot Networks, a computer networking company, from 2017 through its acquisition by Intel in 2019. Thereafter, he served as a senior vice president and general manager at Intel, where he led the company’s ethernet, silicon photonics and networking businesses until 2020.

He previously held senior leadership roles at Google from 2013 to 2017, overseeing Google Fiber and other internet access and energy projects. From 2003 to 2011, he served as president and CEO of Atheros Communications, a pioneer in wireless semiconductor technology, where he led the company through a successful IPO and subsequent acquisition by Qualcomm, where he continued as President, Qualcomm Atheros until 2013.

Dr. Barratt currently serves as Lead Independent Director of Intuitive Surgical, Inc. and as a board member of Astera Labs, Inc. and several private companies.

He holds bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and pure mathematics and physics from the University of Sydney, and master’s and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
