Olivier Franza

Olivier Franza is a seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience at Intel Corporation, where notable roles include Chief Architect and Principal Investigator of the Aurora Supercomputer, and Hardware Design Technical Manager, focusing on special-purpose exa-scale processors and ITAR-compliant classified products. Franza's earlier positions at Intel involved significant contributions to next-generation Xeon™ and Itanium™ processors as a lead clock designer. Additional experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at Boston University and as a Senior Hardware Engineer at DEC/Compaq, where involvement in the Alpha processor generations contributed to the development of Europe's fastest supercomputer at the time. Franza's education encompasses an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Doctorat en Sciences from Université Paris XI.
