Toby Lennox is an experienced advisor and lobbyist, who has spent over 20 years in the industry. Toby is currently employed as an advisor at Intelense Inc, and they have previously worked as the Vice-President of Strategy Development and Stakeholder Engagement for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. In this role, Toby was responsible for developing and implementing various programs, such as issues management, advocacy, reputation management, and political risk management. Toby also had direct interaction with senior political and bureaucratic decision-makers at all levels of government.
Throughout their career, Toby has demonstrated their ability to successfully lobby governments in order to achieve strategic and business objectives. Toby has also managed and directed a portfolio of communications assets, including publications, print media, internal messaging, events, speeches, electronic media, and social media. In addition, Toby has experience with crisis communications, and they have served as the GTAA chief media spokesperson on multiple occasions. Furthermore, they have directed and implemented extensive multi-stakeholder community and industry relations engagement programs.
Some of Toby’s notable accomplishments include completing a 20-year strategic plan for Toronto Pearson International Airport, as well as successfully managing various crisis situations that have arisen over the course of their career. Toby is a strong leader who has coached and mentored a diverse team of over 30 lobbyists, communicators, and strategists.
Toby Lennox has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Trent University, a Master of Arts in Law from Dalhousie University, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Oxford.
