Amy Lo

Amy Lo currently serves as Front End Lead and Senior Web Developer at Intellect Design Arena Ltd since March 2025, following a lengthy tenure at Central 1 from March 2010 to February 2025 as Front-end Chapter Lead and Senior Web Developer. At Central 1, responsibilities included being a subject matter expert in front-end development, facilitating community practices, mentoring colleagues, and managing cross-team issues. Previous roles involved designing custom web application frameworks, optimizing code performance, and implementing security measures. Earlier experience includes web development contracts at A Mind Fuse Inc. and The Cake's Here!, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science with a specialization in Software Engineering from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2009.
