Yew Chung Woo

Yew Chung Woo has extensive experience in leadership and human capital management, currently serving as Assistant Chief Executive at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) since 2012, where roles included Group Director for the Corporate Services Cluster from 2014 to 2017 and Director of the Human Capital Department from 2012 to 2014. Prior to IPOS, Yew was the Head of Employee Engagement at the Ministry of Education, Singapore from 2009 to 2012 and held the position of Deputy General Manager at a listed corporation from 2007 to 2009. Yew's career also includes significant contributions to the Ministry of Defence of Singapore from 1984 to 2007, culminating as Director of the HR Transformation Office and Colonel in the Singapore Armed Forces. Additional roles within the Armed Forces included Commander of the Armour Brigade and Chairman of the 2005 NDP Heartlands Celebrations and Mobile Column Committees. Yew holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, complemented by education at Raffles Junior College and Raffles Institution.
