Daniel V. Alvarado

Daniel V. Alvarado has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel V. started their career at INCONSA as the Director of Sales and Marketing from September 2006 to August 2008. Daniel V. then co-founded and worked as a Business Developer for Seaceron/Encubator AB, a marine cleantech startup, from September 2009 to August 2011.

From March 2011 to November 2013, Daniel worked as an Analyst Europe at IPNav, a patent monetization firm. Daniel V. conducted technical and business analysis of clients' portfolios to identify monetization value and execute commercialization campaigns.

At Chalmers Industriteknik, Daniel served as a Deputy Project Manager from March 2011 to September 2012. Daniel V. managed EU-funded projects related to innovation, intellectual property, and international research cooperation.

Daniel joined Intellectual Ventures in April 2014 as a Senior Market Analyst - Fund Strategy, where they contributed to the company's mission of driving innovation globally. Daniel V. then held various program development manager roles, including Fund Management, Business Development, and Portfolio Management. Currently, they serve as the Director of Portfolio Management at Intellectual Ventures.

In addition to their current role, Daniel also works as the Director, Company Secretary at IV International Licensing Unlimited starting from February 2022.

Daniel V. Alvarado obtained a Licentiate degree in Marketing and Advertising from Universidad Americana (UAM) between 2002 and 2006. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship at Chalmers University of Technology from 2008 to 2010.
