Jessica Townsend

Jessica Townsend is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in analytical development and quality control within the biotechnology industry. Currently serving as Associate Director and CMC Analytical Lead at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc., Jessica has previously held several key positions at bluebird bio, including Senior Manager and Manager of Analytical Development, where responsibilities involved leading analytical methods for lentiviral vectors and overseeing quality control initiatives. At T2 Biosystems, Jessica managed product support and quality control teams, and contributed to FDA submissions as a Senior Scientist. Jessica's career began at Hologic, focusing on molecular diagnostic assay development. Jessica holds a Master of Science in molecular and cellular pharmacology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Minot State University.
