John Galyas

John Galyas is an experienced chemical and biomolecular engineer currently serving as a Senior Process Development Engineer at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc., focusing on LNP Process Sciences since June 2021. Prior to this role, John held multiple positions at Pfizer from August 2016 to June 2021, including Senior Associate Scientist in a non-GMP Pilot Plant, where responsibilities included technology transfer and the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins, as well as developing new platform processes for continuous manufacturing. John's early career also includes internships at Potomac Institute for Policy Studies and Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where important contributions were made in FDA regulatory policy analysis and biorelevant testing methods for drug development, respectively. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Northwestern University in 2016.
