Michael Cawley

Michael Cawley currently serves as Associate Director of CMC Operations, External Manufacturing at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Manager in the same department. Prior experience includes roles as CMO Alliance Operations Manager at Takeda and CMO Management Specialist and Associate at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities involved managing relationships with contract manufacturers for both clinical and commercial activities, supporting operational planning, and overseeing project governance. Michael's earlier career at Siemens Healthcare encompassed manufacturing and quality assurance within a cGMP environment, and at Alpha Analytical, work focused on metals sample preparation and compliance with QA protocols. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maine and an M.B.A. in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
