Olivia Rose

Olivia Rose is an experienced chemist with a robust background in research and development within the cosmetic and polymer industries. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. since March 2022, Olivia previously held the role of Personal Care Applications Chemist at Zschimmer and Schwarz Interpolymer, where responsibilities included developing and testing water-based cosmetic polymers. Prior experience includes conducting performance testing on water-borne urethane and acrylic coatings as an Applications Chemist at DSM, and assisting in nanopore battery research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland. Earlier roles include a Summer Research Intern position at CeraNova Corporation and a Medium-Scale Chemistry Lab Intern role at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Maryland, earned in 2017.
