Gabriella Mayer

Gabriella Mayer is an accomplished editorial and research manager currently working at Open to Debate since April 2023. With a strong foundation in writing and editing, Gabriella has experience as a freelance writer since May 2018, specializing in engaging content across diverse topics, notably in South Florida and New York's dining, fashion, beauty, and event scenes. Previous roles include social media editor at TED Conferences, where Gabriella enhanced customer engagement, and copy editor at Washington Square Review, mentoring aspiring editors. Additionally, Gabriella served as an adjunct professor at New York University, taught fiction and poetry, and has contributed to various publications and projects through freelance writing and editing positions. Gabriella holds an MFA in Creative Writing and a BA in Comparative Literature from New York University.
