M. Zhang

Computational Linguist at Intelligent Machines Lab

M. Zhang is a skilled Computational Linguist with extensive experience in Natural Language Processing, particularly in English and Chinese. Currently at Intelligent Machines Lab since 2018, M. Zhang focuses on various facets of NLP including word sense disambiguation, summarization, and computational grammar writing. Prior experience includes roles at Alibaba Group as a Corpus Linguistic Consultant and Analytical Linguist, where M. Zhang engaged in Chinese Natural Language Understanding and project management, and at Brandeis University as a Corpus Linguistic Researcher specializing in Chinese Treebank Annotation. Earlier positions also include work at Verilogue as an English Conversation Analyst. M. Zhang holds a PhD in Linguistics from Rice University.
