Rahul Ganguli

Rahul Ganguli began their career in 1997 as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at YTC America. In 2005, they joined Rockwell Scientific Company as a Member of Technical Staff. In 2006, they moved to Teledyne Water Treatment as Director of Business Development, where they developed business for recoatable membranes technology within the oil and gas industry, as well as commercializing technology with a focus on water treatment. In 2021, they became Chief Technology Officer at Intelligent Optical Systems, Inc., where they lead commercialization of Research and Development portfolio consisting of cutting-edge materials advancements in fiber-optic fluorescent DLR sensors, Colorimetric sensors, enhanced Lateral Flow Assay biosensors, and Laser-based Ultrasonic Sensors. Rahul also manages and grows a $10M portfolio of R&D projects from the Government and private industry.

Rahul Ganguli holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, obtained between 2003 and 2009. Rahul also holds an MS in Chemical Engineering from The University of New Mexico, obtained between 1995 and 1997. Theirundergraduate degree is a BTech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, obtained between 1991 and 1995. Additionally, they hold two certifications: Product Strategy from Kellogg Executive Education, obtained in September 2021, and Business Management Essentials from Cornell University.
