Nicolas Lauzon has been working in the software engineering industry since 2007. Nicolas began their career as a System Integrator at Advanced Measurements Inc., where they developed Labview code for Fracking automation and data management software. In 2008, they moved to Fujitsu Microelectronics Inc. as a Firmware Engineer. In 2009, they joined NovAtel Inc. as a Software Designer, where they designed and developed robust low level embedded C++ software for Novatel high precision GPS receivers. In 2014, they became a Software Developer at Extreme Telematics Corp. and, in 2020, they were appointed Senior Software Engineer at Intelligent Wellhead Systems.
Nicolas Lauzon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta between 1998 and 2003.
