Lupe Minero has a long history of work experience beginning in 2001. Lupe began as a Research Assistant at the SDSU Research Foundation in 2002 and then worked as a Coordinator of Student Activities and Research Coordinator at the University of California at San Diego in 2001. In 2004, they were an Intern at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a Program Coordinator at Columbia University. In 2005, Lupe became the Program Manager at the Comprehensive Weight Control Program, Weill Cornell Medical School. From 2008 to 2019, they held the roles of Director of Products and Programs and Senior Program Manager at BMIQ. Finally, in 2019, they became the Sr. Director of Programs and Customer Success at Intellihealth.
Lupe Minero attended Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health from 2003 to 2005, where they earned their Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention. Prior to that, they attended UC San Diego from 1997 to 2001, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Human Development and Chemistry.
