PAUL BUCHANAN

Paul Buchanan has over 20 years of work experience in the medical field. PAUL began their career in 2001 as an Electronic Warfare Technician for the U.S. Army. In 2009, they became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Pinnacle Medical Group. PAUL then worked as an LPN for Bradenton Neurology in 2010. In the same year, they also began working as a Practical Nurse for the U.S. Army, where they were responsible for leading a small team in the care of patients. In 2014, they became an LPN for Lakeland Regional Health-Florida, where they were responsible for patient care and customer service, as well as maintaining the office computer systems. In 2016, they became a Medication Reconciliation Nurse for BayCare Health System, where they were responsible for obtaining detailed medication histories from patients, as well as extensive Cerner EMR use and coordination with other medical facilities and offices. In 2018, they became a Primary Care Licensed Practical Nurse for Weill Cornell Medicine. In 2021, they became a Licensed Practical Nurse for Hospital for Special Surgery. Most recently, they are a Clinical Support Manager for Intellihealth.

Paul Buchanan received their High School Diploma from Winter Haven High School in 2000. PAUL then attended the U.S. Army MI Computer System Repair School in 2001 and obtained a certification in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. In 2007, they attended the U.S. Army AMEDD Center & School and obtained a Practical Nurse Certification in Nursing. In 2018, they obtained a Licensed Practical Nurse certification from the New York State Department of Health.
