Sandro Barros

Sandro Barros has had a varied career, beginning in 2001 as a Research Officer at the Performance UTC at Rolls-Royce. In 2003, they took on the role of Project Manager at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Founding Partner and Diretor Executivo at GT2 Energia. In 2013, they became a Lecturer at FGV. Most recently, they have been the VP of Technical Operations and Chief Technical Officer at IntelliSense.io since 2019.

Sandro Barros has an educational background in engineering. Sandro obtained a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Itajubá between 1990 and 1996. Sandro then went on to get an MSc in Energy Conversion - Thermal Power from the same university between 1996 and 1998. Finally, they completed their PhD in Thermal Power/Gas Turbines from Cranfield University in 2002.
