Smita Chavan has three years of work experience in the Quality Assurance field. In 2018, they began working as a QA Engineer at Ayoconnect, where they were responsible for understanding the requirements and business of the application, as well as performing manual testing on the functionality of the application. In 2022, they joined HSBC as a Senior QA Engineer, where they were involved in functional study, designing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and preparing bug reports, as well as selecting test cases for regression testing, retesting cases where defects had been raised, API testing using Postman, verifying database records and logs were storing and updating as expected, and testing the web application (GUI), functional, and regression testing using Selenium. smita is currently employed at IntelliSense.io as a QA Engineer.

Smita Chavan completed their Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College in 2013. smita then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil College of Engineering, which they completed in 2016. During the same time period, they also completed a B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication from Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering.
