Lian Yu

Lian Yu is an Optical Systems Engineer at Intellisense Systems, Inc. since October 2022, focusing on systems, hardware, and software design for projects in Department of Defense environments. Previous experience as a Senior Optical Engineer and Optical Engineer at Luminit Light Shaping Diffusers involved the design of holographic light-shaping diffusers, optical component assembly, and the use of optical design software like Zemax. Additional roles included Engineering Change Analyst at Alcon, where Lian managed documentation and created engineering drawings, and an internship at Torrey Hills Technologies, contributing to thermal management materials. Lian holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and a certification in Optical Engineering from UC Irvine.
